Most patients who die by suicide screen negative for suicidal ideation. If you use decision trees that designate negative screens as “low risk,” you should stop. This applies to the CSSRS red/orange/yellow scoring system. The CSSRS “misses” most patients who kill themselves.

I am part of a generation of women who were denied this health option…it’s not just symptoms…it’s cardiovascular disease, dementia, bone health and genitourinary conditons associated with mortality and will cost who knows how much $$ to address. Interested in this information.
