Alana Hogan on getting over the hump in the preliminary round: "Last year, we felt we left a lot on the floor. This year, we didn’t want to make the same mistake." Boston Globe Schools Ursuline Academy Basketball Alana Hogan

Thoughts on Ursuline Academy Basketball: - Alana Hogan plays with tremendous poise. Elite shooter, but doesn't force anything. - Sofia Pichay has a lethal first step and is a pest on D. - Payton Knight is money from mid-range. - Sophia Fallon and Chloe McGrath were active defensively.

After a heartbreaking loss on this same stage last year, Ursuline Academy Basketball broke through against Bedford on Monday. Alana Hogan led the way with 31, as the Bears showed mental fortitude in the clutch. “Practice makes perfect. They’ve been here three times. We finally got it.”
