We all know Facebook has a lot of problems. A huge one they still haven't fixed is the facilitation of antiquities trafficking in conflict zones—a war crime. This user in Aleppo, Syria offered 90 pieces of pottery in a Facebook antiquities trafficking group earlier this month.

In fairness we - journalists like Liz Sly - and especially Syrians who risked lives to document this & many other techniques now being reused in Ukraine - have been filling in the world for a decade and more.
