Judging by the smoothness of the review process for this first (great) submission, Aletheia is off to an auspicious start. Based on this and my experience so far at Journal of Quantitative Description: Digital Media, there's clearly an appetite for trying new ways to evaluate and publish peer-reviewed research.

This offers a rare perspective we don't get when we only view final versions of papers in journals, rarely with commentary from others in the field.

The peer review process is characterized by massive status bias. What is the solution? Transparency, openness, and the elimination of gatekeeping. Please consider submitting to Aletheia, a new way of sharing your research. You can ALSO submit your paper to a trad. journal

If you agree with Gilad Feldman, consider submitting to Aletheia, the new research platform with open and identified reviews. You can always submit your paper to a traditional journal later, and use the reviews to improve your work.

If you submit to Aletheia, we will post your peer-reviewed paper in about a month or two. And you can always submit to a traditional publication outlet later (and share the reviews with the editor).

Do you have a paper that is ahead of its time and may not fit narrow confines of disciplines? Consider submitting to Aletheia. Our philosophy is "not gatekeeping, let the market decide." You can also submit your paper to a traditional journal later or concurrently.

The Aletheia platform provides exactly the model to do this. If you want to publish a comment on a paper (but the original journal doesn't accept comments/replications), you want to update the time series for yours of others' work, consider submitting to Aletheia

Aletheia allows reviewers to be paid in cash, not publons, ape NFTs, etc. Reach out if you want to submit a paper, review, etc.

I cannot recommend this platform enough. 1) you have more leverage over selecting reviewers, better ensuring expert feedback from folks you respect; and 2) you will get feedback about what can be strengthened about your paper and how to address it. C’mon Poli Psy and REP folks 😎
