Handed up the first stage of my PhD, packed up my apartment and moved out, spoke at my first conference, swam with whale sharks: Big week. Thanks to Aust Coral Reef Soc for an engaging, inspiring conference, and to everyone involved in my project for the aid in getting to this stage!
Was lucky enough to celebrate my one year PhD milestone by accepting the Lorraine Holley Essay Prize at the UTS Science award ceremony last week. This prize is for the student with the highest mark on a 1,000 word essay detailing the social benefits of their project 🪸
