I used to exchange messages with Roger Moore on Twitter before he died and after experiencing different losses through life- people I loved and lost and loved again afterwards- I just see Bond, and life itself, in a different light now.

It fit the tone of Craig's Bond but wasn't the kind of escapism people watch Bond movies for. My favourite Craig performance was always Casino Royale. So to me this one is only 6/10 but it isn't the worst Bond film I thought it was going to be.

I thought No Time was going to be the worst Bond film, but it wasn't - if anything, it felt like the natural end of Craig's run of films that started out with fire and ended in fatigue.

Gladiator shows what happens when a woman follows the world instead of her heart. Gladiator II undermines that by rewriting history, giving her a child with Maximus instead of the man she actually chose.

For this writing blunder - among other reasons - I've come to the conclusion that Gladiator II isn't a good film. Sorry, Ridley Scott, but rewriting life for Lucilla takes away the weight of her choices and their consequences with Maximus.

A list of films that have been greenlit for a remake in the last 24 months. It's borderline comical how lazy and unoriginal Hollywood is as an industry. And what makes it even worse is that a lot of these movies are remakes in themselves.
