.Magic Patterns is a great example of having a killer feature one thing that is so good that you don't care about other edges being a bit rough their /inspiration feature generates four different directions of design perfect fit for the design phase that no one else has!

at least 50% of scenarios where in the past i would have opened up figma to mock up an idea, now i open up Magic Patterns and prompt a live demo into existence. could never go back

AI Products that have *stuck* for me so far - Claude as daily chat assistant - Wispr Flow for dictation - Codegen for code review - Magic Patterns for interactive prototypes I also use Cursor, but mainly for auto-complete and deep-diving, and it doesn't feel like it has

New grads are not cooked because Cursor exists. New grads are cooked because they *rely* on Cursor. If you’re learning a new codebase or programming language, my hot take is reinstall vscode. Cursor will be there for you once you can read what it’s generating.

Some photos from the archives. 2018. Teddy is speaking at our college alma mater right now with Y Combinator on “How to Start a Startup” and Magic Patterns We’ve aged… but still coding, still working together, and still having fun!

My brand new Magic Patterns hoodie is getting a lot of love.. thank you so much Alex Danilowicz . Btw the greatest and most flattering compliment came from the data dawg himself (Cody Blakeney). He’d look so 🔥 in the hoodie 🚀 👌 ✨

Super small feature, but what is super cool is the sound that is played is entirely custom. We hiring across the board and one of our new hires is also a musician for fun 👀 If you can guess the chord, I'll give you 100 free credits or a Magic Patterns sweater?
