The speed-up is due to thermodynamic parallelism, as the correlation function of the system mimics a collection of d copies of the device. Unlike other analog methods, which are plagued by noise, ours relies on noise, and can achieve arbitrary accuracy in the presence of noise.

Finding it annoying when journalists say “semiconductors” when they mean “microchips” eg “semiconductors were invented in the US” oh did someone invent insulators and metals too??

#Rlab updates: Color center integrated photonics hits WAFER scale! 🤓🥳 We develop a nanofabrication process for up to 5-inch silicon carbide wafers in arbitrary substrate types including our favorite quantum-grade color center hosting 4H-SiC arxiv.org/abs/2405.07498
