We did it! We walked the diameter of Dartmoor in a day. 2 PhDs, 33ish miles, 17 hours (stop for a river swim and a picnic). Saw skylarks, stonechats, an adder, a slow worm, fighting shrews, a hedgehog, a sun rise and a sun set. And raised our £1000 target! Had fun, left no trace.
