Lisa Nandy MP Graeme Bandeira I was struck by how similar the main message - standing up for marginalised communities outside London - was to her spell as shadow levelling up secretary Here's a sample: 2/3

Incredibly sad news about Sven. I was lucky enough to interview him earlier this month when he was extremely open, likeable and moving. Here's the piece if anyone fancies a read. theguardian.com/football/artic…

Can't help noticing there's a mass exodus from Twitter. I might stick around. If only to try and provide balance with videos of dog-filming where the camera is almost lost due to over-vigorous swimming.

Libraries across County Durham shared light and solidarity with Liverpool City Council on the eve of Spellow Library reopening. The power of community is stronger than ever #ShareTheLight

Some genuinely seismic results beneath the national picture. Take County Durham. Labour lost 38 seats and only have 4 left. Reform won 65 seats, having not had a single one. The Tories lost 15 and have 1 left. This was a Labour controlled council for a century until 2021.
