The staff in Coronary Care Unit RDH making sure all our patients have the right information during their stay in hospital! Very proud of the team for the clear message to all our patients and families University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS FT UHDB Patient Experience Team alisonwadlow Donna

Thank-you Raj (Fit mask testing coordinator), for fit testing ED staff today. 😷🦠 Continuing with this until we are all fit tested 🤞🏼 If any other areas need support with this, please let me know. UHDB Infection Prevention and Control Team

Lawrence Dunhill 1. It's really depressing that the focus is on 76%. This will inevitably focus effort on the 'quick wins' and discharged patients. Meanwhile there is deafening silence about the utterly miserable 12 hour (from time of arrival) stays.

Welcome to our new volunteer in DAU Helen Broughton, Jo.. painting sessions with patients while waiting for discharge… amazing patient experience enjoyed by all. Consent gained prior to posting! @codingbrown agree. organisational culture is not what’s on the website it’s what they do. Culture = behaviour x frequency. For IPS refusal The 2 questions I ask is “would you accept that care for your relative?/Can you give us a patient centred reason why you are not?” It’s normally no.

Happy International Nurses day to all our teams MIU SRP DME Respiratory Unit @ UHDB Becki nelson Carl Dutton RN Simone Rizzi Claire Conboy Nicky Brock Hollie Shields HannahTimms ❤️💞

Well done💫Louise Humphries, Clinical Educator, MAU @ RDH, recipient of an EOLC Achievement Award for Excellence. Nominated by colleagues for her passion & dedication to educate & support staff to deliver good EOLC. Louise is one of the first EOLC key trainers University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS FT

Met a wonderful staff nurse in RAU #UHDB today who uses a fantastic analogy to explain to patients what proteinurea is (I will definitely be taking this analogy back to Diabetes). If you are ever passing RAU on 409, you must pop in and meet Megan! 🌟 UHDB Renal Team

Saw this the other day up in the Surgical division management offices University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS FT and I really liked it. We could do with a little bit of this UHDB - Professional & Practice Development
