It’s student fieldtrip time! Teaching students that rodents are cool and a new bird call each day. So far we have the Lewins honeyeater and the golden whistler locked in 👍🏼

Another student fieldtrip nearly done and dusted. We’ve done small mammal trapping, spotlighting, bird surveys, vhf tracking, survey design, soil plots, camera trapping and more. It’s always so rewarding seeing the students develop their skills and get confident in their handling

Congratulations to #Honours and #Masters students submitting #theses! It is a hugely exhausting time for #students and #supervisors alike; I am acutely aware of the responsibility as an assessor. In honour of your efforts, here is a poem(?) from cuts from your theses 🙏 #science
