Lovely to hear of staff from all branches, speciality & disciplines pulling together to support one another. Very brave but must also be very anxiety provoking caring for such poorly patients in areas they are unfamiliar with. They are capable but 'the pressure' still exists 💙

🥰 You may be a Dr, but you will always be the child of your caring parents for as long as they around! Its good to keep connected to those you've known for yours who are good for your soul; family or friends. We all need lovely chats right now 💙

A question I suspect many other Consultants, & health/social care profs, struggle with. I'd say if you're asking this question then it has to be a yes answer as it indicates it's not a normal thing for you to do & shows you need to switch off. Self Care needed amidst the crazy 💙

We all need to do the right thing for own health when spending our energy looking after others. Thankyou to this lovely Dr for speaking out about the impact on her mental health & for being brave enough to stop & address it. This is the 'pressure' the 'NHS' is under 💙 #COVID_19

This 🙌 Too many people have mistaken opinion for knowledge, reading data via media they can't accurately interpret&with no understanding of variables. #Nhs staff are seeing & feeling the pressure first hand. The pressure is related to the people; not spaces or objects. No lies💙

The current state of ICU part 2: Safe staffing in ICU in ordinary times is 1:1, how is 1:3 now safe? How can you triple the workload of a nurse working with the highest acuity of patients and think that's ok &/or sustainable on both the nurse & patients... Its real & happening 💙

The state of ICU part 3: Care rationing & age cut offs for beds. So those who in less busy times would have been offered the bed & care will not now get that chance. Very sad to hear & making such gut wrenching decisions day in & day out would be soul destroying.💙
