Gov. Healey and Lt. Gov. Driscoll visited Mass. Transportation's command center for Sumner Tunnel closure operations this morning. In this photo, they view congestion tracking data from earlier in the day.


Wondering what's going on in the Sumner Tunnel? Mass. Transportation gave reporters a tour of the worksite this afternoon. I got to see crews installing ceiling arches. The repair work is about 30% complete and a rep. for MassDot says the Tunnel should reopen, as scheduled, Aug. 31

Gov. Maura Healey is touring the Sumner Tunnel w/ Mass. Transportation's highway administrator Jonathan Gulliver to survey work done while the tunnel has been closed for repairs over the last 8 weeks. The tunnel is scheduled to reopen Sept. 1
