Much of the area is now under a Moderate (Level 4 of 5) Risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon and evening. Widespread damaging wind gusts are likely, with potential for locally destructive winds. Tornadoes and large hail are also possible. Have a way to receive warnings!

I've seen enough: in a victory for the pro-choice side, Ohio Issue 1, a measure to establish a right to an abortion in the state constitution, passes.

MAJOR VA PROJECTION: Juan Pablo Segura has lost the Election Day vote to Russet Perry in Loudoun County. We are projecting SD-31 and the Virginia State Senate for Democrats

Dave Wasserman (@redistrict) 's Twitter Profile Photo

In VA Senate, Schuyler VanValkenburg (D) appears to have defeated Siobhan Dunnavant (R) in #SD16. If Russet Perry's (D) narrow lead holds in #SD31, Dems would be guaranteed to keep the majority.

VA House of Delegates: by my count, Dems have now won 50 seats, meaning Republicans have lost sole control. There are still 4-6 tight races that could put Dems over the top for outright control.

Did you miss it? Our cheat sheet has dozens of results already. For instance: 1. Dems sweep 4 judicial elections in Pennsylvania. 2. Ohio legalizes weed. 3. MAGA sheriff ousted in Virginia. 4. Mayors elected in Tucson, Manchester, & a lot more. boltsmag.org/whats-on-the-b…
