our almost 2 year old woke up a little grumpy from her nap today. as she was complaining “mommy no put me down” and other regulars, she pointed at a pic on our shelf and said in the same whine “that’s paul verhoeven” they truly do say the darndest things.

i just realized i’m making enough with my writing now to afford rent in the first place i lived in new york! it was $500 a month and i was sharing a bed, but pretty cool! makes me feel hopeful that i can actually do this.

amber rollo So many of those comments are by self-described "leftists" showing their asses and how their worldview is centered more on excusing extremely antisocial/unprofessional behavior and not having to ponder the consequences of actions, and less about a healthy society of mutual care

in other news, today is my daughter’s second birthday. we sent all her aunties and uncles and cousins birthday videos this year and today they have been sending her videos back and she is so so happy. lucky girl to be surrounded by so much love 🥹
