From the month of April 2024 to June 2025, AMDISS has recorded a total of 43 media violation across South Sudan. Out of the 43 media violation,11 violations against media houses while 32 against individual journalists including 3 female Journalists.

The General Assembly of the Executive Board of AMDISS concluded its two-day Annual General Meeting today in Juba. At the end of the meeting, the General Assembly made several recommendations and resolutions, directing the Secretariat to implement these decisions.

#Update: Media Situation in Upper Nile State Last week, AMDISS General Assembly received an update on media landscape in Upper Nile State. Aban Christopher, Station Manager of Saut Al Mahaba Radio in Malakal, described the overall media situation in the State as "difficult."
