MIRZA ŠEHIĆ was killed on 21 March 1993 in front of his house while playing. During the war, his sister Indira and his grandmother Rabija were injured. Mirza was 10 years old. #SniperAlley #BosnianGenocide

NERMIN ORUČ was badly wounded on 20 March 1993 in one of many #Serb mortar attacks. He was transferred to Mostar then Split for a further treatment but sadly he passed away on 31 March. In that same attack his mother Fehrija was injured. Nermin was 7 years old. #SniperAlley

On this day in 1992, the Siege of Sarajevo began. The longest siege of a capital city in the history of modern warfare. It lasted 3 years, 10 months, 3 weeks & 3 days (5 Apr 1992 to 29 Feb 1996) 11,541 civilians killed, 1,601 of those were CHILDREN.

MIDHAT ZORNIĆ was killed on 24 April 1992. He was killed in a #Serb mortar attack while going to school. Several of his friends were injured in the same attack. He is considered one of the first child victims of Sarajevo Siege. Midhat was 12 years old. #SniperAlley

AMEL HODŽIĆ was killed on 3 May 1995. He was playing tennis with his friends when the #Serb sniper shot him in the chest. His mother tried to save him and help him but it was too late. Amel was 16 years old. #SniperAlley #Brother #MyBrother

Danas smo u Veljacima ukopali 6 bošnjačkih civila ubijenih 1992. u Bratuncu. Među njima su i Zineta Paraganlija i njena beba od samo 6 mjeseci, Almera Paraganlija. U proljeće ‘92, na području Bratunca ubijeno je više od 600 žena, djece i staraca bošnjačke nacionalnosti.

Danas smo u Veljacima ukopali 6 bošnjačkih civila ubijenih 1992. u Bratuncu.

Među njima su i Zineta Paraganlija i njena beba od samo 6 mjeseci, Almera Paraganlija. 

U proljeće ‘92, na području Bratunca ubijeno je više od 600 žena, djece i staraca bošnjačke nacionalnosti.
