"Slow down! Where are you in such a big rush to get to? This is a lesson I've had to learn the hard way since the Pandemic hit." Scissor Kick's #EdFringeTalk24 wp.me/p3S2mm-4s4 Harriet Madeley @graciethejell Dundee Rep Summerhall

So excited and proud of Amy Conway my Royal Conservatoire of Scotland RCS MA/MFA Classical & Contemporary Text year group friend presenting yet another show Summerhall this year! Wonderful! 💪 Bring on #EdFringe #EdFringe24 👌

Or how about peering inside Scissor Kick's preparations with theatremaker Amy Conway - Summerhall: "And what do you do?… The question I most dread. And I know I’m not alone here." theqr.co.uk/2024/07/07/unf…

Our Artistic Director Stephanie Katie Hunter has written for WhatsOnStage about what the Edinburgh Festival Fringe means to her personally and professionally ahead of our summer season kicking of in just one weeks time!

COMING UP! We’ve got some great stuff coming up on next week’s Standard Issue, such as @quadroyal, @sweliotknickers, and Amy Conway, as well as your usual Standard Issue faves.

And an amazing sound design by Gary Cameron that totally elevates the show!

First show of Edinburgh Festival Fringe was a belter from Amy Conway with 'Catafalque' which has some jaw-dropping moments as a celebrant tackles death, ritual and legacy. See it at Summerhall 1-11 Aug and then touring Scotland (and it's always ace to see one of my images out in the wild 👏)

Enjoyed Steve DePasquale's production of Catafalque Summerhall today. Beautifully written & performed by Amy Conway, from her experience as a local authority celebrant, Amy gives fascinating insights into the role, but what do you do when you have to write an eulogy for a monster?

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ “plays out that truth with an unforgettable and shocking vividness” - joycemcmillan

So proud of Catafalque’s review from Scotsman Arts! “a controlled and delicately-paced one-hour monologue that saves its most shocking moments for the end, and leaves plenty of room for understanding and reflection.” - joycemcmillan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Bravo Amy Conway and Beth Morton!
