Thank you E. John Wherry! Platelet hyperactivation and immunothrombosis are prominent features in severe COVID-19. Our paper identifies FcR and complement as two major pathways that mediate platelet dysfunction. Both pathways can be targeted with available, approved therapeutics.

Beautiful work by Dr. Josephine Giles online today. Josephine & E. John Wherry et al built a healthy human T cell differentiation atlas & used it as a framework to understand T cells in disease. Prediction of cis regulatory elements is amazing (Fig. 6)! sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

We celebrate the incredible work of Dr. Paula Agudelo Garcia (Dr. Paula A Agudelo Garcia), a postdoctoral scientist studying how our genes are regulated. Her work focuses on understanding how chromatin is altered through metabolic and epigenetic proteins. #WHM2022 #WomensHistoryMonth

Super excited to share with you are our newest paper on cBAF regulating CD8+ T cell fates and long-term memory! Great collaboration with HargreavesLab and superstars Bryan McDonald, Brent Chick, Nasiha Ahmed! authors.elsevier.com/a/1hF443qNrUu3…

E. John Wherry Dr. Amy Baxter Junwei Shi We all use the same nucleosomes!! Hillarious. I guess they really are turquoise.

So excited to share this new paper by the brilliant Jennifer E Wu! A really thoughtful and impressive analysis highlighting how we can use in vitro models to uncover new biology and study the complexities of T cell exhaustion. Congrats Jen!
