(1/3) I typically look at GCaMP in neurons, but here is GCaMP in eggs during ovulation! An individual egg (red arrow) travels from an ovary to the uterus. The egg is then activated (increase in fluorescence is due to calcium influx) and eventually deposited. [5X speed]
