Two weeks with - undergraduates and Andreas Tsouris to phenotype thousands of segregants using Singer Instruments PIXL and RoToR, and sequence dozens of genomes with Oxford Nanopore. It was so much fun and I'm still in awe and can't believe what we can do with the students these days.

Last talk from the Schacherer Lab by Joseph Schacherer "le boss" on the global transcriptional landscape across 969 natural yeast isolates which highlights the importance of the accessory genome on expression variation.
