Beautifully for a project about market power, our inadvertent wage offer misquoting teaches us that: 1) PIs benchmark offers against competitors. 2) PIs face upward-sloping RA applicant supply. 3) PIs set RA wages. Will post our PI-specific apps=f(wage) curve after Aug 13 🤓.
