Thrilled to share this preprint doi.org/10.1101/2024.0… showing that a memory of a cardiac lesion can persist and lead to physiological changes in the next generation.

We found that offspring of mice that underwent neonatal cardiac surgery recovered faster from a similar intervention. Thanks to Benedetta Coppe, Andrés Sanz-Morejón, Enrique Lara-Pezzi, Nacho Flores and rest of collaborators as well as European Research Council (ERC) for funding.
