Good to attend a TARA meeting at Cardinal Court - loads to look forward to including a Wimbledon day tomorrow with 🍓 strawberries and cream! That's a group making a place into a community!

Today I'm at full council, one of 8 meetings during the year where all Leeds Councillors meet and debate (or more honestly talk past each other ☹️). I spoke about the Health Scrutiny Board I chair and the importance of the health provision in Leeds.

I chaired the AHAL scrutiny board today. Really important topics discussed today: 1. The CQC inspection of Leeds maternity and neonatal wards 2. The health impacts of social media on young people, and 3. The Council's adult social care budget.

Good to be at the St Luke's TARA this evening. Thanks to the police 🚔 and housing officer for attending and answering questions. Massive shout out to Mark Hodgkinson for chairing.

I'm in Bradford today for West Yorkshire Pension Fund meetings. Keeping over 300,000 people's pensions secure. For those interested, we've moved to one committee, the Advisory Panel, rather than the IP and JAG, which will remove duplication, but means it'll be a long meeting!
