You cannot flourish *as* an oak tree (because you are not an oak tree). You can flourish *like* an oak tree by living in accordance with your nature and its natural ends (because that’s how oak trees flourish).

If you have hard words to say to someone, put your name to it and take your stand. That is honorable and truthful. And it means you have to defend your words and risk the consequences for what you say. This is what it means to be a man.
