For the first time in almost 30 years, I’m watching a competitive senior #watfordfc game from the Rookery. Last time was a 2-1 defeat to Blackburn (Alan Shearer scored) on October 24, 1995 . . .

My run of 134 consecutive #watfordfc league games ends today. But I didn’t have to buy tickets, cover travel & food costs etc. And I was paid to be there. So hats off to fellow fans who travel week in week out, making a long trip to Wales (rewarded with a delicious goal though!)

Deadline day tomorrow. I’ve blogged for 90 hours over the previous six: padding, filibustering, sharing pictures of my curry etc. This time #watfordfc appear to be set to do proper business - and the window ‘slams shut’ at 7pm, not 11pm . .
