Lapwing parents vigorously defending a single chick at Bhylls Pool today. Moved on the what I’ve just named Radford Pool 😁, nothing of note, but did see a make Yellowhammer.

Quick trip to Bhyll’s pool, pleased to see the Lapwing chick has survived to recent down pours 👍. However no sign of LRP. Ian Moore

1 adult & 1 all but fully grown juvenile Lapwing still on Bhylls Pool. I wonder what happened to the 2nd adult? I haven’t seen it for at least a month Ian Moore

Last two days walking the “Cornfields” Penn produced, 2 Bullfinches, 2 Stonechats, 2 Siskin, 18 Fieldfares, 250 Redwings and 1 Goldcrest Dave Jackson

A walk around Pool Hall produced 3 Little Egrets ( my highest site count ) 1 pair of Goosander, with another pair on Trescott Grange. Also called in at Bhylls Pool, which was quiet, highlight being a Grey Wag Ian Moore

A walk around Pool Hall area in glorious Spring sunshine produced 2x Little Owl, 1 Jack Snipe, 1 Goosander, 3 x Reed Bunting and 4 x Little Egret, with plenty of Thrushes and singing Skylarks 😀Ian Moore

Good to see a Chiffchaff at Pool Hall this morning, also 1 pair each of Tufted Duck and Goosander. Also 4 Little Egrets and Greylag. Also great to see a pair of Lapwings displaying at Bhylls Pool 😀 Ian Moore

A quick walk round Pool Hall dam area, produced 5 Goosander, 3 Tufties and a single Little Egret, 4 Herons but no Green Sand Ian Moore chris vaghela
