Wonderful news this week, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Anthony Nolan Partnership has reached the incredible milestone of 120 donors, thatβs 120 people with blood cancer given a second chance of life due to the hard work and efforts of our amazing volunteers! ππ€β€οΈ #WorkingTogetherSavingLives

As part of the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Anthony Nolan partnership, SC McCormick today supported Holyrood Secondary in registering 6th year students (and teachers) to the stem cell register. The fantastic Student Champions, pictured below, helped facilitate the event. Well done everyone π

Ayrshire College, Ayr Campus hosted an Anthony Nolan donor recruitment event today. Colleagues from Ayr White Watch, ENSA training and Dumfries CAT assisted in recruiting another 30 potential life savers to the Anthony Nolan register π SFRS East, North and South Ayrshire Scottish Fire and Rescue Service Ayrshire College


Firefighters from across England who are transferring to Scottish Fire and Rescue Service are carrying out a two week course with us to align with Scottish procedures. This week the candidates were welcomed to the service by CraigMcGoldrick@Scotfire and honed their BA procedures. well done π

Today we joined up with George Watson's College to register S6s on the stem cell register through our partners Anthony Nolan 75 Pupils volunteered to have swabs taken following a session on the donation process and why stem cells are needed for blood cancer π«
