Today Ang Broadbridge was in #Carlisle for a special screening of our collaborative animation on maternal listening, featuring voices & experiences of women from our #MaternalMentalHealth pilot. We can't wait to share it far and wide! Until then, visit waystowellness.org.uk/maternal-menta…

The short film, which will be shared more widely in a few weeks, has been supported by partners including Caro Claisse Abigail Durrant Newcastle University Open Lab - Newcastle University Centre for Digital Citizens The Happy Mums Foundation Healthwatch Cumberland, Cumbria CVS & Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council - and more. A true collaboration!

Yesterday, we joined the Supporting Children and Families Theme Event with NIHR ARC North East and North Cumbria to talk about how we took the initial idea for SPACE pilot through a collaborative test and learn delivery, with robust evaluation, leading to more funding to support families who need it.

What could Neighbourhood Multi-Disciplinary Teams (NMDTs) for children and young people look like across the #NorthEast and #NorthCumbria? Ang Broadbridge recently joined the Child Health and Wellbeing Network Huddle with North East and North Cumbria NHS to explore this.

We're thrilled to see the SPACE pilot featured in the National Institute for Health and Care Research Annual Report 2024/25! Thanks to the NIHR ARC North East and North Cumbria evaluation, the SPACE pilot secured further funding to extend the project, supporting families of children with complex healthcare needs.
