There are drills to build skills and there are drills to test skills. #oline coaches - we must know the diffence between them and not confuse one for the other.

It’s pretty hard to retire from who you are. I’m not sure why you would ever want to?

The real danger of repeating the same mistake twice.

Coaching balance and body control on the kick step. You need to apply pressure from both sides to ensure there is a full understanding of where to anchor your weight so you can move fast but still under complete control incase the need to redirect comes in #oline

Working hand placement and replacement depending on changing surface areas. Always finish with a bull rush to ensure their anchor. The best drills require no gadgets, no silly toys, just people.

I watched that game live on TV as a kid. This is as incredible still today as it was back then.
