I appreciate this monumental step taken by the largest Economy on Earth. This will compel others to follow on their footsteps. Though late it is a welcome step towards making our planet healthier for our wild coinhabitants on land & in the sea. Wildlife Conservation Trust (India) only.one/act/break-free…

Why do people feel a false sense of security in a mob? Rescuing this tiger will be an uphill task because of the crowd. In an ideal world they should have dispersed & the tiger left alone. It would have walked away on its own or be nudged by forest staff towards the nearby forest

Hope necessary mitigation structures ARE planned on this highly destructive linear intrusion. If under/over-passes are built in right places, roads can allow efficient transport with much reduced damage to wildlife. Except MP/Mah hardly any state is following national guideline.

840 million Indians are farmers. Don’t know why media thinks farmers are incapable of miracles? And why are we surprised when farmers’ children do well at Olympics? If they can feed 1.4b Indians & a billion others, why cant they win medals in sport. Media needs a reality check.

We talk of human rights at a drop of a hat, but never think twice before putting hundreds of wild animals under a bullet to feed humans. Did we ask their permission? Does our right to live super cede right of all other living beings? cnbctv18.com/travel/food-an… IUCN Namibian Presidency
