Yesterday London Assembly gave Mayor of London, Sadiq Khan the power to extend #ULEZ to all London boroughs. We and amazing campaigners like Rosamund Adoo-KD CBE FBSA watched from the chamber, hoping to see the revisions pass. A London wide #CleanAirZone will help us all breathe easy.

I'm sitting on a very busy train and feel like standing up and shouting "my Private Member's Bill on #CleanAir just passed Cttee Stage unopposed!" Common sense keeps me rooted in my seat.

We are so happy about #ULEZExpansion today! Currently 4000 Londoners die every year from #AirPollution. These deaths are easily preventable. #ULEZ almost halved #pollution levels in inner London. With #ULEZExpansion 5m people will be breathing #CleanAir. #ULEZ will save lives.

#ULEZExpansion will be accompanied by a £110m scrappage (nearly double the previous scrappage scheme!) to support Londoners on low incomes, disabled Londoners, charities and small businesses. With this scrappage scheme #ULEZ will support the most vulnerable. #CleanAir
