Check out this video by Ethan Coleman for the Gallery of Fluid Motion! This project was purely curiosity-drivenāwe did it just for the fun of it. The resulting patterns resemble a kaleidoscope. Our group Laboratory of Interfaces, Flow and Electrokinetics will be at #DFD2024 APS Division of Fluid Dynamics. I will be personally missing DFD after many years, but check out the exciting talks by students and postdocs, including 2 posters and the first experimental result from our group.

#Phd project available to join my group and Michael Booth's group at UCL Chemistry on the #CDT in #Engineering Solutions for #Antimicrobial #Resistance to work on electrokinetic and nucleic acid technology for lateral flow assays (ucl.ac.uk/london-nano/cdā¦) App Deadline: 26/01/25

Thank you The New Yorker for highlighting the work from Laboratory of Interfaces, Flow and Electrokinetics at CU Boulder Engineering 𦬠. It's incredibly rewarding to see our work recognized beyond academic circles and spark broader discussions. It was wonderful to speak with Rivka. Hope you will enjoy reading the piece below.

Patterns on a tropical fish might not seem like a chemistry problem, but Ankur Gupta of CU Boulder 𦬠has a knack for seeingāand describingāhow the rules of physical chemistry explain the world around us. Read more: cen.acs.org/physical-chemi⦠#CENT12

Congrats to CU Boulder 𦬠professor Ankur Gupta on making the ACS 2025 āTalented 12!" His team uses advanced computing modeling to study chemical movement in materials, advancing cleaner, tech-like batteries and water purification. cuboulder.engineering/43yeSeR #CUEngineering
