There is no time for “condemnation,” only action. Over 100 dead already reported; medic teams reportedly executed. RSF and aligned forces must be stopped and pulled back from El Fasher, Zamzam, and Abu Shouk.

We lost a hero. Mr. Ahmed Mohamed Salih Sayidna dedicated his life to children in Zamzam, and was killed in the RSF shelling. His passing is not just a loss for SAPA— it’s a loss for humanity. May we honor him by continuing the work he gave everything for.

Today is a heartbreaking day for all of us at SAPA. We mourn the loss of our colleague, Mr. Ahmed Salih, who was tragically killed by the RSF. Ahmed was a true humanitarian, dedicated to supporting displaced children in Zamzam Camp. His compassion will never be forgotten.

🚨HUMAN SECURITY EMERGENCY🚨 Humanitarian Research Lab (HRL) at YSPH now confirms Zamzam is fully under control of RSF & being burned to the ground. Many civilians were too weak from starvation to flee or flee far. Team now monitoring for indicators of mass killings of civilians by RSF forces. CODE RED ‼️

🔴 We are devastated to share that SAPA's Kitchen in Zamzam Camp, North Darfur, has been struck and burned by the RSF. Since August 2024, the kitchen has served over 630,000 meals to displaced families and children.

🚨 THIS IS NOT A DRILL 🚨 Women, children, and elders dropping dead and at risk of death right now on the road fleeing the destruction of Zamzam camp. Humanitarian Research Lab (HRL) at YSPH watched them today. UNSC and 🌍 must deploy emergency response now. TIME IS RUNNING OUT. Here they are from space:

The Sudanese community is tragically divided at a time when unity is our only lifeline. As the country faces one of its worst humanitarian crises, collective ignorance and political fragmentation are costing lives. We must rise above factions before it’s too late.

As Sudanese, we are enduring immense trials — in our geography, society, morals, politics, and faith. Everything is crumbling, and people are losing their way. May Allah grant us steadfastness.

📢 It’s official: Humanitarian Research Lab (HRL) at YSPH shuts down on July 1 and ends its missions on tracking Ukraine’s abducted kids and genocide in Darfur without further funding. We will continue our work as long as we can, but we are running on fumes. See CNN story from today below ⬇️.

It’s hard to describe the (happy) feeling of seeing children who’ve endured the worst now bent over maths and language tests. For families in Darfur, sending children to school is both a sacrifice and a quiet act of defiance against horror and war.
