Great team effort today! Made a start on WB Pearl 🌾 for Simpsons Malt Ltd., coming in at 16.5% , time will tell yield wise. 2nd cut silage ☘️ also done and dusted ✅! Harvest definitely going to be staggered with mixed desiccation dates.

OSR harvest started yesterday in HEAR - Ramses. Safe to say yields are down 👎🏻! We also made a start to Ag bagging the winter barley which has been treated with maxxamon. A stop start harvest as still as 40 acres of WB still to cut. Anyway we plough on!

First of the OSR away! Always a good day when you can tip straight in the shed and no dryer!

A weekend off for everyone as we are up to date on OSR (only 60 acres left to cut when ready) ! The local show displaying some quality oldies but goldies and a few loads of OSR getting picked up (black gold 💰)!

OSR finished ✅ yesterday. Yields ranging from 1 t/ac to 1.5 t/ac! LG Anarion yielding higher than the HEAR. A real mixed bag this year with promising looking crops in the spring not following through at harvest! Anyway we move on…. Winter oats next on the agenda!

HEAR oilseed rape been going in this week. It has been good to keep wheels 🛞 turning! An all too familiar site as the combine header sits waiting patiently! Another day of sporadic showers ☔️! We try again tomorrow…….

Conway Oats being drilled today for Quaker Oats with the mighty 6215 Thomas Sherriff & Co and HORSCH UK Pronto! Less than 200 acres to go in now!
