As the service comes to a close, we’re looking back, and celebrating Shine Women’s Mentoring’s 12 years. We’ve supported thousands of women in that time and learned how to do it really well. Thankfully there will be a future for this work and we’re excited to be a part of it.

Today we are launching Upside, a national throughcare service, available in all parts of Scotland. Upside provides people in short-term custody, or remand with the practical and emotional support they need to transition to community life. #UpsideLaunch.

Working with Upside is voluntary and will address any issues an individual may have on release like health, housing, finance, skills and employment. Importantly, Upside can also connect people with family support if required. Follow Upside Throughcare on most major platforms
