Finally saw Son nom de Venise dans Calcutta désert thanks to the Another Gaze / Another Screen Duras season. The soundtrack still very familiar decades after frequent popping in and out of India Song at the Camden Plaza in 1977, so was weirdly like watching a film through a curtain gap, darkly.


Godard’s SAUVE QUI PEUT (LA VIE) screens this afternoon Institute of Contemporary Arts, ft. Nathalie Baye, Isabelle Huppert and Jacques Dutronc, plus a thwarted cameo by Marguerite Duras ica.art/films/sauve-qu…








Marguerite Duras on why she chose to cast herself in LE CAMION (1977). Repeat screening on 35mm tonight, 630pm, Institute of Contemporary Arts. An unmissable film.
