Brilliant and important paper: ''We argue that stories that fetishize local and indigenous knowledge across the world as static traditions of the past deny its agency in the present and future.''

These fireflies have made my evening walks so special, and the occasional smell of skunk alongside made it special in a different way (which I had mistaken for weed)

The wetlands near Detroit provided the perfect place to reflect on my time here as it comes to an end, with head & heart full with everyone who took the time to share their stories. Feeling sad to leave while also longing for home & rest but above all grateful for my time here

We did not encounter any alligators or snakes, but we did see dolphins while visiting multiple NBS projects in Mobile, including the Lightning project. Thank you The Nature Conservancy in Alabama for showing me stunning Mobile Bay! Naturescapes
