#WSIS+20 Forum HLE anriette: We have to invest in digital equality within countries & between countries. We also have to acknowledge failure. We haven't succeeded to the extent we wanted when WSIS started in 2003. And we have to confront new challenges, such as climate change.

Good to be at the African World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) review meeting in Dar es Salaam. But it is shocking and sad that # UNECA (1) measures progress through lists of strategy/policy docs rather than through their implementation and (2) barely mentions civil society's contribution.
