Good news! Let’s see how the Govt now deals with the issue of 45% of the population below the Poverty Line, & the 22% current unemployment rate! The two main focus areas ought be: 1) Recharging Industrial Growth 2) Stopping fiscal bleeding of SOEs & cutting overall govt exp.

Absolutely correct, Sir! Let this govt be the first to initiate strict accountability of the delinquents where ever it has happened. You can begin with the areas where at least one death happened. Bring all those Housing Society plans approving authorities/ persons to task!

Wish our political parties also decide to have “Shadow Cabinets”. This would help their party members get trained on particular subjects during the opposition times. Otherwise the occasional competent specialists will continue to be replaced by people of lesser skill sets!

To be or not to be - the old question! Arifa Noor explains why people are increasingly disinterested in politics, & why the elected are not interested in the people. Vested interest is supreme everywhere? But till how long….. 🤔

This is how our Personal & Corporate Income Tax rates compare with some developed countries. Now imagine what our govt takes from us, & what it gives back to us - in healthcare, education facilities, security, etc - & compare to these developed states! Enjoy the deductions!🙂
