Honoured to be at the BIOSINQ - Center for Biosocial Inquiries 'Microbial Futures: the social life of small things' Symposium today at Aarhus Institute of Advanced Studies. Eclectic presentations explored how invisible particles are socialised & made tangible across human communities. My talk explored #airpollution in Kenyan kitchens
We ended the day with a sensuous description of the gendered toxicities of labour in the air pollution encountered in the home. serena_saligari powerfully illustrated how environments are not neutral and air pollution pushes agency to the limit!
