42-Tevin Williams, Williamsport: tremendous athlete with sky-high potential as sophomore. Williams could play QB or WR after doing both last season. threw for 277 yards, 4 TDs and threw for 188 with 2 TDs in first varsity start. tall, fast, smart player who also excelled on bball

court as freshman last year. Has good chemistry with Zion Hughes who could be throwing to him or catching passes from him. also could play role in secondary after intercepting pass last fall. strong offseason as well #piaa

39-Trey Damschroder, Williamsport: Williamsport's top returning player in catches last season, Damschroder caught 28 & could form potent group with Giovanni White or Tevin Williams or Zion Hughes. hard worker who gets it done on field and in class room. averaged nearly 10 yards

per class & had 6 catches, 81 yards in win vs Valley West. a junior who has contributed in each of first 2 seasons, Damschroder also brings depth to the secondary. versatile player who could be poised for breakout season #piaa

34-Zion Hughes, Williamsport: Dual-threat player & strong leader was voted as 1 of team captains as he enters junior year. played both QB and WR last year & also flourished in secondary. has played well at 7 on 7s & likely threat wherever he lines up in fall. completed 26 of 43

24-Giovanni White, Williamsport: 1 of area's most versatile players, White excels offensively, defensively & on special teams. White can line up in backfield or at receiver & effective at both. gives Williamsport a unique threat. also an excellent safety who tackles & covers well

chris masse (@docmasse) 's Twitter Profile Photo

White is an excellent returner on special teams & unleashed his arsenal in Central Mountain win last year, running for long TD, returning long punt to set up another score & forcing a fumble. part of good core of returners from D2-4 champs #piaa

22-Cordoza Minor, Williamsport: 3-year starter up front became quite a weapon on both lines last year. 1st team HAC-I d-end & honorable mention o-line. Minor has had super offseason & showing big-time lineman speed, running 40 in 4.7 seconds. could be used in backfield at time

16-Anthony Manley, Williamsport: Quick note here. Lucas Naughton & Manley were fabulous duo last fall. Naughton's status unknown due to injury but he would be in top 20 for sure if playing. Manley was in on more tackles than any area player last year, a whopping 155 as sophomore

chris masse (@docmasse) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Manley flourished in 1st year starting & was among the center pieces of tough defense which helped Williamsport win 1st district title since 2016. averaged 12.8 tackles per game & was force in district final with 20 tackles in 14-0 win. made at least 7 tackles 11 times, topped 10

So Lucas Naughton is playing this year. he and Manley both had tremendous seasons, so Naughton comes in at No. 16 in a tie with Manley. Naughton had tremendous junior season, producing 144 tackles, while averaging 11.1 per game. made 7 or more tackles in season's first 12 games
