Fellow Kenyans, Development may be achieved under a strong man. Unfortunately, none of your current leaders fit that bill. A time comes when a people must stop looking for a saviour and take responsibility for their own future. End.

My mum was a development worker. She was employed by Fr. Kraakman more than 40 years ago. Her work with the youth, women, and the vulnerable was legendary. Despite being imobile, I am happy she was there to celebrate Fr. Kraakman's farewell mass. Ramogi TV covered the event.

Interesting facts. Did you know that Nyeri Primary School was a whites only school until Kenya's independence? Here are final year students flanked by their class masters in 1955.

There is pleasure in pathless woods, There is love on the lonely shores, the gentle type... This intimacy where no one intrudes, Waiting by the waters... Thoughts wafting away with the waves... I don't mind humans, but I love nature the more!

Does Kenya have appropriate leadership for times like these? What would that leadership look like? Definitely, it is beyond shouting "Wantam" or "Kumi bila break".
