Showing off our transgenic Hofstenia embryos for #MicroscopyMonday... I'm normally biased towards muscle, but the epidermal cells are just soo beautiful. 😍

HEY! Do you know someone that wants to do a postdoc in NYC? Do they think muscle/stem cells/the cytoskeleton/science are all very cool? Do they they live for a good bagel? Do they want to be bothered by me at their bench? If they (you?) answered yes to any of the above…👀

I’m so honored to join this amazing cohort of scientists! Thank you to @JCChildsFund for the enthusiasm and support - not just in my potential as a junior scientist, but also in the power of emerging model systems. Stay tuned for lots of exciting Hofstenia discoveries!

It turns out that cadherins do a lot of heavy lifting in muscle stem cells💪🏼! So happy to see my paper out in Development and that's tree #2 for @WoodlandTrust! Please give it a read, I hope you enjoy the pretty images (and the important biology)💖 journals.biologists.com/dev/article/15…

A little late, but I wanted to thank @JCChildsFund for an incredible symposium last weekend. I had such a wonderful time meeting everyone (fellows, admin, staff, and board members!) and hearing about the amazing science being done by my peers. Can’t wait for next year!
