This week we hosted @Blackstarjus in Parliament for a packed out event, discussing everything from critical race theory to racially conscious environmentalism. It is important to promote international dialogue on true reparative justice for Africa and the global diaspora.

Today marks Emancipation Day, when the Slavery Abolition Act came into force across the British Empire Instead of compensating slaves, the government took out its biggest ever loan to pay the slavers: £300bn in today's money. We only finished paying off this loan in 2015.
