Potentially the biggest thing we need to do now is to realise that universal climate change mitigation will no longer be possible, and shift focus to both climate adaptation strategies and more drastic interventions that don't necessarily need global consensus to be effective.

Pleased to share the latest paper from my group published in Green Chemistry! Here, we show that by using ionic liquids, we can get a P450 decarboxylase to work at substrate concentrations 1000x that possible in water, and as a bonus - can be light activated! pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…
