#Year 6 have dived straight into activities at the Arete Llanrug Centre! The sun shone down on us whilst the groups split up to climb Lion Rock, scramble around the RAC boulders, and hike up a mountain to enjoy views of Puffin Island! supportingeducation #SGSDifference #SGSPrep

Down down, deeper and down🎵 Year 6 all went underground today and explored a Welsh mine. They rowed a boat, climbed a waterfall, and ziplined over a pond! What adventure will tomorrow bring? Arete Llanrug Centre #SGSYear6 #SGSPrep #SGSdifference

It's fantastic that Sam Rowlands MS and Liz Smith CBE MSP have very similar bills currently going through the Welsh Senedd and Scottish Parliament respectively. This is a great, cross-party movement spearheaded by the brilliant The Outward Bound Trust that is gaining real momentum.

Ain't no mountain high enough⛰️ One last activity before Year 6 head home and the groups went for a climb up Lions Rock and Union Rock! What a way to end the week! Arete Llanrug Centre #Year6 #SGSdifference

35 Brentwood School Combined Cadet Force have just left Arete Llanrug Centre after a brilliant week of Adventurous Training. Teamwork and resilience built, new friendships made and everyone challenged. (Also some questionable hat choices!) #armycadetsuk

Hope this backed in the Welsh Parliament today to expand the educational opportunities for Welsh pupils.

Year 5 are at Arete Llanrug Centre for their residential. Check out our instagram and Facebook pages for more.

Looking forward to the progress of this Bill now that the Education, Children and Young People Committee committee has endorsed its principles. Committee Report: digitalpublications.parliament.scot/Committees/Rep…
