The tech industry certainly has its issues when it comes to gender diversity, but if we're gonna talk about male dominated spaces, we should really start with the moon.

What does it actually mean when an app or website has an option for "screen reader optimisation"? Why is that a choice? "We cut corners so as not to degrade the overall performance for most people, but we'll happily make things slower so you can have full access if you want."
