The BIP Lab is thrilled to have been funded by Arnold Ventures for 3.5 years to evaluate an original intervention to reduce absenteeism among young children. Collaborating with our former Harris Policy PhD student, Sebastian Gallegos -- the band is back together!

Fabulous guest lecture today from Libertad González in our Harris Policy Barcelona PubPol study abroad program. We gained so many new insights from Libertad's creative research on the effects of paternity leave in Spain on gender equality, fertility, and children's development.

Spectacular city walk to explore Barcelona’s urban transformation with my The University of Chicago Harris Policy study abroad class. We examined public spaces serving children and families: superblocks, pocket parks, 40+ public libraries, and free community and climate refuge centers.

She's not on this site, but I'd like to recognize the accomplishments of my fabulous former PhD student at Harris Policy, Elise Chor, who has just been promoted to tenure in the Department of Political Science at Temple University and named incoming director of its MPP program!
